In Honor Of Our

U. S. Military Heroes

Sarge in uniform

All right you bunch of club-dragging, divot diggin golfers, it's time to honor our U. S. Military heroes. This is your ole Sarge speaking and you can tell by the gear I retrieved from the trunk in my attic, that I have something very dear to my heart to talk about, SO LISTEN UP! It’s time you give back a little something for all the fun you’ve had out there every week, hacking around and acting like you’re a golfer. While you’re playing and making a few bets with your pals, men and women are risking their lives by enduring the elements in some mighty rough places, ducking bullets and going through a myriad of emotions, as members of the United States Military. Why do they do all this - so your sorry butt can play golf without having to worry about a suicide bomber or terrorist blowin' you up! Now don’t you think it’s time for a little payback...HUH??

You do get my point...RIGHT? OK then, grab your duffle bag and follow me...I’m going to tell you what to do so you can start making a difference.

Now Pay Attention and Get This Right!

I’m not talking about putting a ribbon shaped magnet on your car telling the car riding your butt to support our troops...that may make you feel like you have fulfilled your obligation...it don’t do squat to help our troops...you got that? It’s like the people who think they are showing their patriotism by displaying “Old Gory” without proper respect to our nation’s symbol. They leave the flag out after sunset without having a light shining on it, use it for commercial purposes by sticking it all around a car lot on little wire rods and letting it touch the ground...they even make clothes out of it! It is a dang disgrace how folks show disrespect to our nation’s flag through their gull darned ignorance!

It’s time we learned to show and give some respect to our country and to those who have - and continue to - put themselves in harms way so that we can be free! Thousands of Americans have given their lives...given their lives...that means THEY DIED so you bone heads can live in a country where you can show disrespect for our flag. God Bless America and those who protect it!

Now, I'm Only Goin' To Tell You This ONCE!

So get your knuckle-draggin hands on your mouse and click on the sites below to get all the details on ways to show our military heroes that we appreciate what they are doing! This is a list of links that you can use to show some REAL support to our troops. I’d better not hear that you don’t want to help with this, or I’ll have your sorry butt low crawling through so much mud that even your mother won’t recognize you...you got that? Now click that mouse and do what’s right!

America Supports You

Thank you for joining millions of your fellow Americans in wanting to honor and find ways to show support for our military. Whether you want to send a care package to a soldier, donate airline miles to help reunite returning military men and women with their families, support scholarship funds or send support to wounded service members, on this page you will find more than 300 nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping our troops and their families.

If you know of a non-profit organization in your community focused on helping our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Coast Guardsmen, Marines and  National Guardsmen that is not currently listed, please contact America Supports You today to have them join the team.

If you don’t have time to search through all of the organizations, just click below and send a message to our troops to show them your support.

The USO Care Package Program was created to provide a safe and secure way for the public to show their support for our men and women in uniform. For a $25 dollar donation, Americans can sponsor a care package for a service member who is either en route to an overseas assignment or currently deployed. Each USO Care Package is assembled by volunteers and contains, at a minimum, a 100-minute international calling card, a disposable camera, toiletries, sunscreen, and a message of support from a Care Package sponsor. Over 480,000 care packages have been distributed as of December 2004.

Additional information about the USO Care Package Program is available by calling (877) USO-GIVE.

The USO is a Congressionally-chartered non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide morale, welfare, and recreation-type services to military personnel. The USO operates 125 centers, including centers in Kuwait and Qatar, and will soon open a center in Afghanistan.
